Lida Masoudpour is FitzGibbon Media's Director of Campaigns. She has worked on campaigns and at start-up organizations for more than a decade. Prior to joining FitzGibbon Media, Lida was a consultant at Bullfight Strategies and at Media Matters for America where she launched a first-of-its-kind messaging operation in 2010. This was Lida's second tour at Media Matters. In 2003, she served as one of the initial members of its start-up team and was responsible for overseeing the implementation of the organization's goals and priorities. Lida also has played key roles at the Democracy Alliance and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, helping both groups grow, achieve scale, and transition out of the start–up phase. In addition to her nonprofit work, Lida has held positions in then-Senator Hillary Clinton's Congressional office and on her 2008 presidential campaign. Lida is a first generation Iranian-American, a Maryland native, and a graduate of Georgetown University.
