Brett graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2008 with a degree in political science and economics. Since graduating, Brett has worked almost exclusively in the political sphere. In 2008, he directed grassroots environmental campaigns in Wisconsin focused on clean water issues. From there, he managed progressive political campaigns in rural Wisconsin and worked for the Wisconsin Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Most recently, Brett was campaign director at USPIRG/Environment America’s DC offices focusing on clean air, clean water, and healthy food issues. Brett joined Fitzgibbon Media in 2011.

Thousands of concerned consumers have joined a grieving mother’s breaking campaign on Change.org calling on Enterprise Rent-A-Car to stop opposing proposed legislation that would prohibit rental car companies from renting cars that have been recalled due to safety risks.
